The plan located approximately two hundred units on a four-block site on the Eastern Ridge of Corte Madera. The City had declared the whole area unstable. Marin County forbade construction on the ridgeline. Stereoscopic pairs from aerial photographs showed it was not the ridgeline at all but a foreground ridge. The plan included landscape treatments matching conifers on the planned ridge to match the ridge behind. The landscape plan included a Deer Trail, Flora and Fauna in slide areas where there was no construction possible.
