Saratoga/Teerlink

The 55.5-acre site was located on a hilly, sometimes steep, mountainside where the soil consisted of gravelly clay load and azule silty clay loam. Several small streams traversed the site causing some land sliding where the slopes were steep. Soils within three feet of the surface were affected by persistent downhill “creep.” Terratech soils engineers made a general analysis of the soils and water conditions based on information in their files. City requirements consisted of a City of Saratoga Zoning Ordinance, a City of Saratoga General Plan, and a Santa Cruz Mountains Hillside Ordinance, adherence to the Saratoga Zoning Ordinance and the Subdivision Design Criteria.
