3977 Clay Street

Willis purchased the building at 3977, 3979, 3981 Clay Street and renovated all three flats. She moved into the one on the top floor, 3977 Clay Street. As it was her first home, she designed the spaces as her dream house.

Her design merged two rooms in the front into one large living room with a built in bar. She rebuilt the 30’s kitchen, creating space for a good size dining room attached to the kitchen and living room. By connecting the hall half-bath to the master bedroom bath, I found space for a small guest bedroom. she merged two bedrooms in the rear into one large master bedroom with a sitting room and a view of the city.
